This is a no brainer - Josi.
Fisher is too old
Johansen won't show up to play every game.
Subban loves being in spotlight, but might not reflect well as a captain. Though he is an awesome human.
Neal is a grade A wiener.
Josi is perfect age, awesome Dman and is already a leader. |

Im not a huge Josi fan, maybe Ive only been watching when he screws up or makes a soft play without the puck but he comes off as not being rugged enough to represent the identity of this team... Preds are a tough team to play against with heart and determination in spades and need a leader who represents those qualities. Weber was the perfect embodiment of those traits and not easily replaced.
I could see the team waiting to make this decision and allowing the Captain to emerge as the season wares on. |

I think Fish is the right choice. Sure, he's old and likely done after this season, but it gives another season for the new pieces (RyJo and Subban) to show their identities as part of this squad. Next season, after Fish retires, they can make the decision as to who they want to wear the C for the next several seasons. |
